Hereunder we will share the case about our automated granular material handling system for plastic pipe extrusion industry. The customer has a total of 12 production lines with a daily output of 150 tons, including 2 HDPE double-wall corrugated pipes, 6 PE water pipes and 4 PPR pipe production lines. The material handling system adopts permanent magnetic vacuum pump group, which improves efficiency and greatly reduces production energy consumption, while reducing labor costs, providing customers with stable production and better quality products, and realizing the automated production.
The system adopt the latest “Permanent magnet inverter drive energysaving vacuum pump.” A single set of pumps replaces multiple sets of traditional Roots pumps, and is equipped with a large-scale stabilized automatic double-circulation filtration device, achieving more than 35% energy saving. The system uses permanent magnet variable frequency motor for direct drive, which has fast dynamic adjustment and ultra-high operating efficiency, significantly reducing noise. lt also has a high protection level, low temperature operation, small occupation, and has multiple operating data monitoring functions to ensure high efficiency and reliability.
The system is equipped with 8 multi-component gravimetric blenders, which can accurately weigh PE/PPR granules to achieve efficient and uniform mixing. It not only improves production efficiency and reduces raw material waste, but also ensures product quality and meets customers’ demand for high-standard pipes.
In response to the drying requirements of different granular materials, Mconvey has equipped 2 dehumidification dryers for PE water supply pipe line to ensure that the moisture content of the raw materials is less than 200PPM, which effectively ensuring the quality of the pipes. And 4 insulation dryers for PPR pipe line to ensure the dryness of the raw materials and further improve the production standards and pipe quality.
PLC real-time operation monitoring
The control system is equipped with a PLC operation station, and combined with the upper industrial control system, it can realize real-time monitoring of the system operating status , ensuring the convenience and efficient operation.
